The weather has finally warmed up, people are here enjoying the beaches on spring break and Captain Mark and Kyle have been running a lot of trips. Looks like it’s going to be a good year! We are having fun catching porgys, triggers, amberjack, groupers, and of course red snapper but we have to let them go. On June 1st red snapper season opens and we won’t be letting them go anymore. Any day now the Spanish mackerel will be here followed by the kings. As soon as the magnolia trees bloom the kings will come. No kidding! It’s really true.
There is a cobia tournament this weekend but so far we haven’t spotted any. Maybe the cold winter has delayed their trip north but it’s only a matter of time until they move this way.
Come down and fish with us!
