Red snappers are bottom fish that are fun to catch and can give you a good fight. They are good eating too, but most fish are!

The 2008 season is as follows:
State of Florida waters = April 15 - Oct. 31
Federal waters = June 1 - Sept. 30

Bag limit: 2 per person whether you are fishing in federal or state waters.

Size limit: 16" which gets a little tricky. Federal law saws it's legal to "pinch" the tail but Florida state law says it's not.
