Hello everyone, we made it through Ida with a little help from our friends. Captain Art and our mate Kyle were good enough to go tie up the Bounty Hunter for the storm.  Mark wanted to go to the boat really really bad but that would have been very foolish 7 days after a total hip replacement with all those stairs to navigate. It just about killed him not to go to the boat but he stayed home and survived. The boat is fine and all is well.

Had the follow-up doctor’s appointment yesterday and all is well with the hip. They took out the staples and sent him on his way. Now it’s up to him to do his exercises and recover. He took a few steps yesterday with the cane (Capt. Art’s “captain’s cane”) and felt pretty good about it.  Had a real good physical therapy session with Bong and is real sore today.
